Grown on Nkonge hill close to the Kibira rainforest on the border of Burundi and Rwanda. The coffee beans are grown at an exceptionally high altitude in a moderate climate. They are processed at Heza, a mill overlooking the Kibira rainforest. At Heza the cherries are washed with locally sourced mineral water which is used to pulp, ferment and rinse the coffee cherry. Flavour notes include tea, sour cherry, and raspberry. These notes create a clean, crisp and delicate cup.
